People need to make up their minds as to who or what they are to me so I know what all I am to them.... really....

To make things more clear, I need to know what they want from me so I can give it to them.

Before, they refused to have something or be something and now all the sudden it seems they changed their minds without telling me, so... wtf?

My new eye doctor

19:55 May 17 2012
Times Read: 540

So, after she gives me the diagnosis and the possibilities as to what could happen, she then tells me that I am taking too many meds for my age and that also for my age I should not be so depressed, and that I should actually try exercising some time, and doing things for other people, rather than only thinking of myself.... she knows nothing of me, I only just saw her yesterday and spoke nothing of myself. She saw I was overweight, and that my eyes were as an old person's would be. So, she assumed that I do not exercise, that I only think of myself and never do anything good for other people. She also assumed that I only lived in the past and that I do absolutely nothing (this includes that I do not work at all) but read and sit on the computer all day. She also assumed that since I took care of my little brother, that I only do it because he was family, and that that didn't count as something kind to another person because he was as such.... Let me speak out here and now.

1. I exercise for an hour every day, and that does not include my nightly runs. So, thank you for the put down about my weight that I am trying to lose.

2. Until recently, I ONLY thought about other people and not myself. Teine reminded me that when he met me and when he saw me again, that all I thought about was other people, and he watched it make me go basically insane.

3. Just because I couldnt think of an instance where I did something nice for someone, doesn't mean I haven't. Why would an eye doctor ask such a question in such an offending way in the first place? So, you caught me off guard, and I'm not good at speaking of other things.

4. It was Teine who mentioned that I took care of my little brother and that, that was something to be proud of. You know what she said? It didn't count because he was family. Let me tell you something:

My family basically disowned me, I don't have to do shit for them. I do it not because they are family, but because I see them as people and because I think of other people, despite how much they've hurt me.

5. Do not assume I spend all day on the computer, that I don't work, or anything like that. I will admit, that I spend a lot of time on the computer. Hell, as a cashier, I use one at work just about the whole time I'm there as I'm working the register....

Yes, I am on the computer often. However, I work on the computer as well. I am taking up two more jobs that are online, and I am also writing my stories on Word, so naturally, I will be spending time on the computer. In addition, I will be going to college online for holistic medication.... AS I AM TRYING TO GET OFF THE MEDS I WAS PUT ON....HOWEVER, I spend my days off with my husband, doing errands, cooking, cleaning, playing with my cats, doing things like tai chi and my martial arts styles, ect. Just because our generation has electronics does not mean that's all I do.

6. Just because I had trouble in the past, does not mean I don't have troubles now. Do not tell me I can't feel shit from my past, and that it can't shape my present time because it can and does. Do not tell me that it is only in my past because my fucking past visits me frequently. It is because of my past that I am a better person. It is because of those that do love me that I am learning to also take care of myself. (thank you sis and Teine ^^).

7. And don't tell me that just because of my age that I have nothing to worry about, that I've been through nothing, and that I don't have a purpose in life, and that I am so self centered, because let me tell you something; you're wrong.

8. Also, as for my being on too many meds... As i've stated before, i'm into HOLISTIC medication, not conventional. I hate taking pills and I only just got on all the pills I did because I couldn't do it by myself anymore after so many years of ignoring my health to focus on other people. I needed a break until I got back on my own footing. I am not taking all these meds for the kicks of it, and do not dare make me sound like a junkie because guess what? I dislike drugs. The only drug I am addicted too, is caffeine.

yesterday, she made me feel like a selfish, lazy, bitchy person who did and does nothing with her life and that i never did anything to help anyone.

So, let me tell you something:

Everytime that I do something for only myself, I feel selfish, that it's wrong, STILL.

I fight to make myself to do things for myself.

Teine had to remind me the things I did and do for other people so I wouldn't get so depressed about myself.

I do not pity myself, and I dont want any one else's pity. I dislike pity. What I want is for someone to tell me that it is okay to get temporary help through medication while I rest my psychological/emotional well-being so I can function by myself again. I want someone to tell me that age does not matter when it comes to experiences, and I want someone to tell me that she was wrong.

And again, you're fighting your case with the wrong people. Take this higher up to her superior and have her job for being unprofessional. You don't need to explain yourself to ANYONE. Least of all to some hack doctor who doesn't even know you.

I never even told her anything. She asked, I couldn't think of anything, and then she babbled on... I just took it with a grain of salt and nodded. She wouldn't listen to me anyway she was one of those types. So I just... meh. Let her talk and then ranted to Teine later on the way to our next errand. He had to have this long talk with me just to get me to realize she was wrong and then the more I thought about it, the worse my thoughts about it were, and defensive I became. She was making herself sound so much a wonderful person, and myself as I have put up there in the journal. It was ridiculous. She was good with what she did eye wise. She explained how badly my eyes were spasming, and she was thorough in searching for any tears and whatnot at the back of my eyes.... but it was all afterwards. She said I looked depressed and all of this. I'm like... most people can see that.... but i've had that puppy look upon my face for as long as I could remember. *laughs* And then it went from there. I don't care that she tried to help, but she was acting a total bitch about it, was basically my rant. And all after telling me that I will go blind. sheesh, the woman knows how to get a person down from their high horse.

My sight

Yesterday I went to get an exam and I got the same news as before... If I continue to strain my eyes a I do either there will be tears at the back of my eyes or the blood vessels will break. Neither will be able to be fixed once it happens.

Mother's day, 2012....

Today is not only a happy day for mothers, but, it can be a dreadfully sad day as well...

Some of you remember my ordeal when my best friend and first love (female) Kay died.... Well, today is also her 21st birthday.... or would be. I'm sure you all can imagine where I am going with this... her mother.

Her mother misses a third birthday with her eldest daughter, and in addition... it being the 21st, and it is mother's day. For those who do not know....

Kay died January 8th, 2009, of suicide. It was three days before my 18th birthday. I will admit, it was a horrible event, as people from across the world knew of kay's influence, and even those who I did not know knew kay, knew her family, and therefore, knew what happened.

I can't express the sadness today, or the happiness. All I can say is, if you are a mother, please be a mom today and call up your children and speak with them. If you are a child and you do not speak with your mother, please call her up, or visit even (mothers too)....

So one day, you will not have to go through this.

As a mother of two kitties, and a wanna be mother of children, I can't even begin to know how much pain this would hold for her, and all I can say is...

Happy mother's day, and happy birthday Kay. I miss speaking with you sweetheart...

In general, we should all appreciate the loved ones in our lives...everyday.

Honestly....

A person my fb said "Alabama was a state against gay marriage. And I thought to my self that's one of the states that cousins can marry cousins. So what is wrong with that picture? Incest is ok but same sex marriage isn't? I don't get it...."

You know what? I don't get it either. Someone care to explain? AND DONT YOU DARE MENTION RELIGION BECAUSE GOD DOESN'T CONDONE INCEST EITHER!

it's right for blood relatives to marry, but not those who are of the same sex? At least they (no offense) can give good homes to kids and not risk genetic mutation.... is that why people want straight people to marry straight people? because of the whole 'only they can beget children through conception' thing and stuff? ugh....

So I wake up this morning, and not long afterwards, I feel that sickly lead / turned on gravity feeling in addition to stronger nausea than usual. I am not sure exactly what caused it.... but I told Teine and he was like... okay.... and tried to tell me to be less vague about it texting... hello, i feel like lead, not going to move easily....

and when he comes in he doesn't even ask how I was. R'asha was the one who came to me and laid on top of me with the concerned look.

And he gave more attention to her.

Later on, i was able to walk around, I ate some food, and then sat on the loveseat. R'asha and Tsuki were playing, and R'asha jumped up on the table, slide across it, and the things in her path fell to the floor. a steak knife fell blade down on top of my foot. Fortunately it didn't even scratch me, but what the hell...?

Anyway, meh...

R'asha should get an extra treat for showing how much she cares about you. :)
